CMCC is happy to welcome back students to our temporary elearning programs! Monday, March 23, we held 28 small group learning sessions. And, by Wednesday, March 25, had delivered 72 small group sessions in Chiropractic Principles, Clinical Education, Diagnostic Imaging, Microbiology and Biochemistry. Congratulations to the students who received a total of $80,000 in cash and bursaries. During the ceremony, CMCC also honoured faculty member Dr. Sahar Bassaly, selected for the Award for Excellence in Teaching and Learning. The award is based on the candidate’s demonstrated passion for education, innovation in the classroom and the application of the principles of adult education in the classroom. Thank you to everyone who contributed to a very special Remembrance Day Ceremony. We were honoured to have Captain Aaron Judah speak to us of the impact of war and peacekeeping on modern day soldiers. On August 26th, 2019 our new Year I students partook in the Transition to Doctor of Chiropractic Ceremony. This event takes place in the presence of faculty and notable persons in the profession. This year Dr. Hammerich officiated, while Dr.Tibbles presented scrolls with the Chiropractic Oath. Dr. Bradaric-Baus welcomed students into the program, and Caroline Brereton, CEO of the OCA, presented the class with keychains. The ceremony signifies the beginning of students’ journeys to becoming Doctors of Chiropractic. Best of luck to the class of 2024!
